Flash fiction and surreal art inspired by vintage curiosities.

Fun With Fiction is my space for learning through storytelling and visual art. My goal is to write a flash fiction story every two weeks, putting lessons from David Galef’s Brevity and James Scott Bell’s How to Write Short Stories and Use Them to Further Your Writing Career into practice.

Alongside these stories, I’m creating 24 collages drawn from twentieth-century consumer culture—mostly advertisements from popular magazines, with occasional material from other sources.

Through both projects, I’m developing my skills, following my curiosity, and making room for the play and discovery that keep creating fun.
